I am Philipp: a Postdoctoral Researcher & Lecturer (Faculty Position) at the Department of Psychology (Pain and Psychotherapy Research Lab, PI: Prof. Dr. Julia A. Glombiewski) at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU).

Since February 2023, I am a Postdoctoral Fellow (Visiting Scholar) at the Department of Psychology (McNally Lab, PI: Prof. Dr. Richard J. McNally) in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University
I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Philipps-University of Marburg in 2020 (Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Eva-Lotta Brakemeier, Prof. Dr. Winfried Rief), along with a Doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck. 
I am licensed as a clinical psychologist in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trained in various modern psychological treatment approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP).

In my clinical work, I am experienced in treating adults with complex trauma-related mental health problems: Mental disorders that are clinically diagnosed as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

As a Scientist-Practitioner, this clinical experience continuously impacts my research and teaching.
